The Headstones - 24 Hours (Everyday)

From McAllen Texas we have The Headstones. This disc contains all the tracks from both singles, released on Pharaoh records in 1966, two classics for sure. The group would never record again and finally broke up in 1968 after Dave Williams, lead vocalist and bass player, was busted for possession of marijuana and sentenced to a year in prison. After Winston Logan, the drummer for The Headstones left in the fall of 1966 he played with The Oxford Circus and later Watermusic. After Dave’s release from prison in 1970 he formed Seompi which lasted until 1974. After Seompi Dave played with The Remaining Few.
