The first of two volumes dedicated specifically to southern California. This volume takes me back to those days, decades ago, when I scored my first Pebbles records at the local record shop (Dopey’s). The thrill of hearing these great lost songs for the first time and realizing there was a lot more to the 60’s than the oldies stations were feeding me, was an epiphany. Events that would alter my music interests forever, and more importantly understanding that there was an awful lot of good music to be heard, one only had to look a little harder to find it. And not just garage punk either! Enough of my babble, here’s the goods... PEBBLES 8
