The Briefs - Off The Charts [2003]

If you didn’t know better you would think this was from the late seventies or early eighties, but it is in fact from 2003. This is what I classify motivational punk, purely because it makes sitting in one place virtually impossible. So check out this energetic, fun, infectious, pop-punk jewel. And if your so inclined check out other great Briefs releases such as Sex Objects, Hit After Hit and Steal Yer Heart.

Storm In The Garage

Cool three disc set, with a bit of a twist. Instead of one track per band, the focus here is both sides of the 45, which is adhered to in all but a few occasions. Plenty of killer stuff here!

STORM IN THE GARAGE - DISC 2  [TRACKS 21-24 FIXED]

The Wildebeests - Go Wilde In The Countrye

Take three guys with very impressive resumes, John Gibbs (founding member of the Kaisers, Holly Golightly), Lenny Helsing (The Thanes, The Green Telescopes) and Russ Wilkins (Pop Rivets, Milkshakes and Delmonas), and your gonna get some great beat/garage. Check out other great Wildebeest record,s such as Gnus of Gnavarone and their latest release Gnuggets.

Crystal Circus - In Relation To Our Times

Crystal Circus featuring Greg Munford, who sang lead on the Strawberry Alarm Clock’s Incense and Peppermints. So not too surprisingly this sounds like Strawberry Alarm Clock on several tracks, which is a plus. Reportedly this only made it to an All American test pressing and was never properly released.
