The Green Hornets - Sounds From The Dansette

Excellent career spanning collection of sixties inspired garage pop, with plenty of organ and fuzztastic guitars. Sounding like a mix of Delmonas, Creeps and Mighty Caesars, yet remaining distinctly Green Hornets. If you have never heard the Green Hornets, this is the best place to start. Check out the cool cover of Gene Clark’s “Elevator Operator” as well as a sweet version of Vince Taylor & His Playboy’s “Brand New Cadillac.”

Hi-Fives - Welcome To My Mind

Great pop-punk album from the Hi-Fives, Welcome To My Mind was the bands debut album released on the Lookout label. The Hi-Fives don’t sound like your standard Lookout band however, the band plays in more of a punky merseybeat style than their label mates, closer to the Neatbeats than the Groovie Ghoulies if you will.
