Stoned Alchemy is a fun and interesting CD to spin, and it doubles as a great introduction to some classic Blues and R&B artists for those who are unfamiliar. It wasn’t just the Rolling Stones that these tunes inspired, but countless other British sixties acts as well, such as the Pretty Things, Yardbirds and Animals just for starters. With lots of Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf tunes, this thing is solid, and it’s nice to have all these great songs on one disc. Enjoy!
