2005 Radioactive reissue of the debut (and only) album from Orphan Egg, originally released in 1968 on Carole, a short lived GNP Crescendo subsidiary. Nice assortment of commercial psych sounds, typical for the the period, with four or five stand out tracks. Orphan Egg were from San Jose, California, band members were Jim Bate, George Brix, Pat Gallagher, Dave Monley and Barry Smith. The band also appears on the “Cycle Savages” soundtrack, I believe the band also had a cameo appearance in the film.
